Original gold foil-covered box measuring 2.25x6-1/8x1-1/8" deep contains plastic/metal pen and pencil set "Advertised In Life" by Windsor, early 1940s. Box has some edge/corner tip wear and flocked insert shows lt. wear but box remains tight and VF. 4.75" long yellow plastic fountain pen w/screw-on cap has clip w/incised "Superman" name and pen tip is marked "14K." Exc. Matching 4.75" long mechanical yellow plastic pencil also has incised "Superman" name on clip and has .75" tall full body color decal of Superman in classic pose w/hands on hips. He stands underneath "Superman" comic book title logo. Decal has a few tiny flakes, but pencil is o/w VF/Exc. Not shown in "The Adventures Of Superman Collecting" by Matetsky.
