Item Description
Each is 1.25". The first with clock face design has some air across the upper 15% so the blue color is not as deep in that area but otherwise essentially Mint as made. Both this and the following feature the earliest back paper design by W&H which includes the words "Pin Back" above their April 14, 1896 patent date. Second button features 16 silver coins surrounding a single gold coin and again includes the inscription "16 To 1." This is Hake #266 but the clock design is unlisted in Hake in this size. Coin design has pair of trivial 1/16" cello splits by the back collet that are barely seen and the piece remains glossy and NM. Two rarities. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
