Item Description
All are 7/8". First is rooster with 16 silver symbolic tail features and one in gold. Tiny age mark on very bottom edge but displays NM. Hake #253. Next is a lapel stud showing gold bug with a stake driven through its body and with slogan "What We'll Do To Gold Bugs." Reverse stud has a rather short fastener but this seems to be as made and the celluloid is NM. This is Hake #321. Next is silver bug with "No Compromise" slogan. W&H paper. Hake #324. Mint. Next is clock face design which is a little off center but otherwise Mint. This is Hake #267. It has W&H paper and also names a NYC jobber. Next is button divided into silver and gold segments. Colors were overprinted on a blue background and a couple of blue dots show through the portion in gold but this is as made and the piece is essentially Mint. This is Hake #3361. Last reads "'U.S.'" (Unlimited Silver) High Admiral Cigarette." This has W&H back paper and also reads "Compliments Of The High Admiral Cigarette." Unlisted in Hake. Pinpoint barely seen mark at 7 o'clock. Scarce to rare items. Julie Powell Collection.
