Item Description
This is Hake #52 and a mate to McKinley #195 in this auction. Reverse has Baltimore Badge paper. There is a .25" sliver of celluloid missing along the reverse collet but with the remaining celluloid laying perfectly flat and with the front of the piece displaying NM. The only defect on the front are three pinpoint near microscopic light tan age dots just over Bryan's shoulder at the left. There is one additional very faint age speck on his forehead along the hairline at left. These four marks are exceedingly minor and the piece displays beautifully with perfect centering, full gloss, and almost 100% free of any surface wear. The Hake 2004 guide value is $850.00. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
