Item Description
This is the 1.25" version of the previous much larger button. Hake #3225. Reverse has open back with fixed horizontal pin. A very old paper label lays in the open reverse with text "Bennett's Novelty Store, Mendota, Ill" and this could easily be from 1900. Front has tiny and faint text on the curl "Copyright 1900 Rockwood N.Y." Hake 2004 guide value of $450.00. NM displaying Mint.
