Item Description
First is 7/8" lapel stud issued by United Mine Workers and dated for "April 1st 1898." Minor silver luster off the reverse but the cello is Exc. Rare. Next two were both issued in Kansas City for "Labor Day" with the 1.25" issued for 1902 and the 1" issued for 1903. Both have W&H back paper. Tiny age dot on extreme right of 1902 and 1903 had tiny dirt speck now removed. Fourth item is die-cut enamel on brass showing engraved hands clasped across a grid of the world globe with text reading "A.F. Of L./8/Hour/Labor/Omnia/Vincit." NM. This issue of the 8 Hour Day dates back to the 1880s. See rare item related to the Haymarket Riot in 1886, item #498.
