Item Description
This large button has metal back and bar pin. There is no maker name. It is unlisted in Hake. Around Landon's symbolic Kansas sunflower is large black text "Gov. Hoffman's Day 1936/Union County." Dark stain from 2 o'clock around to 6 o'clock with the worst of it going inward .5". Button still has nice gloss and a minimum of minor surface wear in reflected light. Only example we've seen. Julie Powell Collection.
