Item Description
First is Hake #16 a 1.25" portrait button with 2004 guide value of $252.00. This example has a .25" cello split on the back with a gap just large enough to make a bump on the top edge when viewed from the front. The front otherwise displays Mint. Second is a rare 1-1/8" litho by Greenduck. Curl of this reads "Copyright 1944 Anthony G. Georgeson." The design features a shield with "V" for Victory symbol along with the slogan which reads both vertically and horizontally on the front of the eagle "All For One/One For All." Below are small portraits of a sailor, marine, aviator and infantryman. There are five tiny 1/16" or less paint dots off the eagle and a little bit of generalized paint loss from the portraits of the sailor and marine although very limited. Vast majority of the piece retains full color and gloss. This button has a Hake 2004 revised price guide of $250.00.
