Item Description
10-5/8x16" thin artboard has Jose Delbo's original pen and ink art for May, 1976 issue of "Wonder Woman" #223. Art is for "Welcome Back To Life...Steve Trevor" story by Martin Pasko and features Wonder Woman in all five panels, battling male paratroopers who attempt to land on Paradise Island. Top margin has stamped title and handwritten issue number in black felt tip pen. Art has a few small areas of preliminary blue penciling visible. Wonder Woman is featured using her Magic Lasso, uttering one of her classic catchphrases in first panel - "Great Hera" and mentions Batman in last. Aged strips of tape at top/bottom center but art is o/w Exc.
