Item Description
Sizes are about 7/8" to 3.5". Most items are pin-back buttons. The exceptions are a pair of cardboard "Roosevelt/Truman" badges apparently designed to save metal during WWII. The reverse has a folded cardboard piece designed to go through a lapel or the other option is "Ladies Use Pin." Tiny bit of wear on one of the two. There are also three "Roosevelt/Truman" litho tin tabs from 1944. Another non-button is celluloid encased square with a pair of pointed prongs on the back and reverse is designed to slide up and down so either the name "Truman" or "Dewey" appears in the center window. One curious button reads "Hear Harry/Meet Mac". This appears to be 1930S or 1940s and has St. Louis Button Co. paper. We don't know what exactly it is referencing. One Truman button picturing two tiny donkeys has a couple tiny age spots on the left edge and one Dewey 1.25" button is slightly darker in tone but without spotting. All other items display cleanly and are Exc. to Mint. 23 pieces in all.
