Item Description
15x20" Smithsonian Institution print shows Amelia Earhart standing beside Lockheed Vega B5 aircraft, a plane that she used to become the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Print features small 2x2" section of original red fabric from Earhart's plane, retaining some of the original paint. This is mounted above text giving historical information about Earhart's historic 1932 flight. Print has small scattered age spots and fabric has some cracking to surface as to be expected of painted fabric of this age. VF overall. Historic aviation artifact.
