Item Description
This large and actually rather heavy 4" button is the concluding item #134 in the first volume of the Hake guides. It carries a 2004 guide value of $2,500.00. While this example is not quite perfect it is VF and displays very well with full gloss. Slight bit of silver luster off the reverse. No celluloid splits on the reverse. Front outer edge of the button has some very tiny bumps largely just noticeable to the touch and all exceedingly tiny. There is the slightest bit of tone mixed in with the pure white background along the very bottom edge and a couple of very widely scattered and very faint gray marks at several other places on the white background. Overall Fine and displaying extremely well with full gloss. These rarely come to auction and the only other example we could find in the last five years or so was severely spotted. Probably less than a half dozen known in the hobby.
