Item Description
All four of these pieces do not indicate any maker name and all four of the silver luster backs with bar pins do not carry any inscriptions, for example, Badge-A-Minit. All four pieces are from 1972. On the first some talented artist took a circular piece of paper to create their slogan and floral design and then varnished the paper to the button. Edges are totally smooth and sealed. Button surface has a little light texture to it. Actually quite an attractive piece and in Mint condition as made. Next is full color photo with fine dot screen showing McGovern at microphones. Next is close-up portrait of him probably taken from a magazine page and made into this button. Covering over the picture is somewhat dull but again pretty much Mint as made. Last is the smaller version of the large 4" 'Robin McGovern.' Except as noted all four pieces are NM to Mint. An interesting group from the Julie Powell Collection.
