Item Description
Each is 7/8". First has fixed horizontal bar pin on reverse, second has small portion of W&H paper, third has no paper. First is Hake Prohibition #4, a real photo jugate with text "Swallow & Carroll Prohibition" second single photo is Hake #2120 reading "For President Dr. Silas C. Swallow." Third is Hake #2122 showing a swallow with an American flag in its beak next to a robin perched on a tree branch. Text is "In Vain The Net is Spread/In The Sight Of Any Bird." This originally had a back paper that read "Swallow & Carroll Are The Prohibition Nominees For Pres. & Vice Pres./Mrs. Swallow's Maiden Name Was Robins." Reverse of this has some oxidation and tiny age dots on the back but all three fronts are clean with all three Exc. and displaying Mint.
