Item Description
5-3/8" tall toy w/separate umbrella attachment (total height is 7.5") has built-in key. Made In Japan, 1930s. Toy has painted tin motor casing w/tin platform and painted tin wheels while majority of toy is celluloid. 4" tall figure of Mickey Mouse is attached to metal post and on top of this is a parasol w/attachments of small die-cut celluloid flowers. Toy works and as it travels in a circle, the tin litho parasol attachment rapidly spins. Mickey has jointed arms that can be posed. Some of the cello flowers have curled and have scattered dust soiling. Wheel paint shows wear. Top of parasol has moderate aging/dust soiling. Working and Fine overall. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
