Item Description
First is his 1934 premium club members button from Quaker cereals. Essentially Mint. Next is his 1935 brass members badge from Quaker (see item 704). On this, like on the previous scorer, he wears a Boston hat. Exc. Next is 15/16" litho, the earliest button we know of that relates to him, with this promoting a song issued following his 1927 record-breaking home run year. This reads "Babe Ruth! Babe Ruth/Song 25 Cents/We Know What He Can Do." Lower half has small dent with couple of small scratches mostly over the word "Cents." Rest displays quite cleanly. Next is the "Babe Ruth" 1950 plastic premium ring that was a part of a set of 16 rings of sports and movie stars issued by Kellogg. Essentially Mint. Last is a 4-3/8" purple felt pennant with silhouette of player and the name "Babe Ruth." NM.
