Item Description
Group includes a pair of fabric patches with one 3" in diameter and one 3" tall which seem to be modern issue, both in Mint condition. Next is 3.5" tall piece of Lucite 1/8" thick with a vertical bar pin on the reverse. Nicely detailed is female baseball player with printing in blue. The pin is held to the reverse by translucent glue and it does appear a vintage piece probably from c.1950. Next is 1.25" button naming "Chicago Colleens." NM. Next is small 9/16" tall brass pin unrelated to the other pieces as it shows a male baseball player. Missing the pin from the reverse. Next is a 1.75x2" wide miniature brass purse with chain link handle. Latch on top allows it to open with a pink fabric interior that could be used to carry small objects. Front center has cello covering over silhouette of a male baseball player although the object is obviously meant for use by females. Next is 1.25" button naming "Randolph Field Ramblers" followed by same for "Springfield Sallies." These three pin-backs and the Lucite piece are all vintage items used some time between 1943-1954. All display Mint with no defect except as noted. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
