Item Description
9.5" tall with a long vertical stickpin on the reverse and a metallic brass thread tassel at the bottom. Separate fabric elements include American flag bow at top and a pair of rosette-like fabrics above and below a 1.75" domed celluloid held in a brass frame. Text in our title is above and below the illustration of the ship. Ribbon top reads "Oregon" while hidden by the fabric at bottom is additional text "Astoria, April 14, 1898." Some creases on the applied ribbons but close to Mint as made. First we've seen and a rare item from the Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
