Item Description
23x30.75" glossy French poster for the 1992 French/British/American romantic thriller film directed by Roman Polanski and starring Hugh Grant, Kristin Scott Thomas, Emmanuelle Seigner and Peter Coyote. The film is known in France (and titled on this poster) as "Lunes De Fiel" (a pun on the French phrase "lune de miel", meaning "honeymoon"). Director Polanski (who has been a naturalized French citizen since 1976 due to fleeing the US after being charged w/ unlawful sex w/a minor) has boldly signed in blue marker, adding "Paris, March - 93" inscription/date. Poster has been rolled and has some scattered handling wear, mainly confined to left/right margin edges. Could be framed for an Exc. appearance. Comes w/printed card reading "With The Compliments Of Roman Polanski" as poster was originally obtained via a charity auction and comes w/original cardboard mailing tube used to send the poster to the US from France. Comes with Hake's COA.
