Item Description
Between 4.5x5.5" and 4.75x6.5" original glossies w/”Spooner & Wells, Inc. Photographers” ink stamp on back w/NYC address, player's name, & team name and year in pencil on most. Shows players warming up in the field and taking batting practice. Includes: Walter Johnson (one of the five original HOF inductees, holder of many records considered unbreakable such as his career shutouts mark of 110, and arguably the greatest pitcher ever) warming up for a game in only his third full season in the majors. Lt. handling creases here and there, lt. age curling, a few margins are trimmed a bit. Overall Fine/VF. An excellent lot of early photos containing a rare image of Johnson on the cusp of greatness.
