Item Description
3-3/8x5". Sharp and crisp photo of both men in dapper attire standing in front of a palm tree on a street. Reverse has inked names of both and in what appears to be Irvin's hand is written "In Mexico City In 1942 In Front Of Our Apartment." In 1942 both played for Azules de Veracruz (Veracruz Blues) of the Mexican League (in addition to the Newark Eagles of the Negro Leagues). Margin trim. Top center has 1" crease. Front remains glossy and clean, Fine. A wonderful image of the two HOF members.
