This very scarce rare ring was offered very briefly by Quaker Cereals in the summer of 1941 w/expiration date of 8/30/41 and promotional text in ads instructing Secret Guard Club members to order “Before Orphan Annie Comes Back On The Air Next Fall.” Ring has “SG” initials on each side while top has her portrait covered by a small magnifying glass in a brass frame which has a pin on upper edge so the frame could be turned to the side to use for magnification. Bright luster off the lower half of the base, about 50% luster still on upper half of base and near 100% remains on the ring top showing Annie.
