Item Description
This 1937 ring features adjustable brass bands in the shape of a pair of cobras. They join at the top on each side of a scarab finished in dark green enamel paint. Post’s used this ring for 2 of their sponsored shows, Frank Hawks and Melvin Purvis. Ring bands have clean brass finish and display beautifully. The scarab, quite susceptible to paint loss, has color off the raised areas of the shell and eyes with much remaining in recessed areas. Overall Fine. A very scarce ring. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection. Comes with COA.
