22x34" glossy poster features nice photo image of the popular rock band surrounded by and holding books w/large "Read" text at top and smaller "R.E.M. For America's Libraries" text at upper left. ©1990 American Library Association. Poster has been signed in black felt tip pen by Michael Stipe, Mike Mills, Peter Buck and Bill Berry. Corners and margins have some lt. scattered wear, but poster could be framed for an Exc. display. Originally obtained via a charity auction and comes w/original cardboard mailing tube w/R.E.M./Athens Ltd. mailing label that is addressed to Mount Joy Memorial Library in Mount Joy, PA. Items signed by the full band are scarce as Stipe is a notoriously difficult signature to obtain. Impressive signed piece. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
