Item Description
Lot of 12 glossy handbills promoting concerts that took place at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR. First three measure 4.25x5.5" while slightly larger measures 4.5x6.25" and next seven measure 5.75x8.5." Final handbill in lot measures 8.5x11.5". All for late 1960s concerts. Some bands/acts include- The Buffalo Springfield, Drake and the Golden Hind, The Horsemen, The Redcoats, Warlocks, The Tweedy Bros., Gazebo, Paul Bear & The Hearsmen, The Family Tree, P.H. Phactor, U.S. Cadenza, Magic Fern and more. Some designs include - carousel horse, topless mermaid, hot air balloon, flying nude woman w/"Flower Power" sash about her waist, peacock lady, butterfly man and more. All have strips of tape/tape staining along margins and all have moderate handling wear w/some scattered pinholes here and there. VG overall. All of these handbills are scarce.
