Item Description
Lot of four original first printing posters, each for concerts that took place in 1967 at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA. Posters measure between 11.25x20.5" and 14x20". FD-91 is for Nov. 10-12, 1967 concerts that featured The Youngbloods and Mad River. Art by Chris Johnson. Upper left corner has faint trace of staining, upper right corner small crease and lower right corner has 1-1/8" crease. VF overall. FD-94 is for Nov. 30 and Dec. 1-2, 1967 concerts that featured Flatt & Scruggs and Lewis & Clarke Expedition. Art by Doyle Phillips (aka Lemonado de Sica D.). NM. FD-96 is for Dec. 15-17, 1967 concerts that featured Quicksilver Messenger Service, Charlatans and Congress of Wonders. Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. Scattered margin handling wear w/some creases to right corners. Lower left margin has 1/8" spot of lt. staining. Fine/VF. FD-97 is for Dec. 21-23, 1967 concerts that featured Siegal Schwall, Blue Cheer and Soul Survivors. Art by Chris Johnson. Poster has some scattered margin handling wear w/some corner creasing. Upper left corner has some streaks of dark moisture staining along extreme margins. Fine/VF.
