18x22" artboard w/original paper overlay (which shows moderate wear) has original mixed media art depicting the main box lid art for 1967 Pyro Plastics model kit No. B212-400, the Dutch man-of-war Gouda warship. Art shows a side view of the ship, a lion figurehead at its bow and matching standard flying aft. Art is signed by A.J. Rudisill, an internationally-acclaimed artist whose original acrylic paintings of landscapes and seascapes have been exhibited at major galleries throughout the country. Earlier in his career Rudisill provided stunning model kit box art, such as offered here. Art area measures 14.75x20.5". Printing labels at center margins. Center left margin has 3-3/8" tear to artboard as well as paper overlay. Corners have some scatterer wear w/creasing. Fine overall, but art still displays nicely.
