Large 21.5x25-7/8" mat contains artboard that has original mixed media art depicting the main box lid art for late 1950s Pyro Plastics 1/76 Scale model kit depicting a Standard Oil Sea Going Diesel Tug Boat, w/large Standard "S" on smokestack and flying American flag. Art shows the model on a tabletop, stands were added painted pieces. Art is signed by Howard Weston Arnold. Art area measures 17.5x22". Mat shows aging w/wear at corners. Mat has .5x1.5" sliver off at lower left. Fine overall, but art displays Exc. Rare early version of this model, see following item #2473.
