Pair of Whitman paper-doll books w/die-cut covers featuring "Paramount Pictures Star" Carolyn Lee (while in addition to books having dolls/outfits for her, also includes photos of the child star). 9-7/8x14-7/8" Whitman No. 984, ©1942. Front and back covers each feature punch-out doll and book features six single-sided paper pages of outfits to cut out and single-sided cardstock strip w/punch-out accessories. 9.75x14.75" Whitman #997, ©1943. Front and back covers each features punch-out doll and book features six single-sided paper pages of outfits to cut out and single-sided cardstock strip w/punch-out accessories. Pages have .25" to .5" tear at top staple, but this does not affect any outfits. All contents are complete and unused. Books have some lt. handling wear w/pinch creases to spines, corner tip wear and scattered cover aging. VF overall.
