Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 8" long tin litho friction toy made in Japan by Bandai and distributed by Cragstan. 1960s. Car features detailed tin litho single cockpit w/separate plastic steering wheel and windshield, applied metal "2" on hood and doors, inset tin litho Italian flag on hood and working friction mechanism. Underside has large "Ferrari" raised name. Plated grille, headlights and car numbers, which show some aging, but o/w Exc. Box has some spots of moisture staining and lid shows heavy and obvious wear w/large tears, corner splits and missing pieces and is just Good.
