27x41" one-sheet poster for 1953 Realart re-release of the classic 1935 Universal horror movie directed by James Whale and starring Boris Karloff, Elsa Lanchester, Colin Clive and Ernest Thesinger. Billed as "The Phantom Monster Show" at top, poster is dominated by large image of Karloff as Frankenstein's Monster, looming over smaller image of Lanchester as The Bride. Several skulls also appear on poster. Folded as issued w/some small tears along fold lines, poster has some small tears .25" to .75" in size at fold crease intersections w/archival tape repairs/reinforcements on back. Poster has some small scattered tears and pinholes along margins. Fine overall, but if matted and framed, would display nicely.
