Item Description
11.5x14-1/8" pressbook w/eight pages (counting covers) for Universal's 1945 horror film "House Of Dracula." A direct sequel to "House Of Frankenstein," the film continued the theme of combining Universal's three most popular monsters - Frankenstein's Monster (Glenn Strange), Count Dracula (John Carradine) and the Wolf Man (Lon Chaney, Jr.). All are pictured in photo images on front cover. Pressbook includes several newspaper-like articles w/several photo images of the film's stars/monsters. Another section includes promotions, including "Shadowgraph," animated lobby displays, luminous posters and a first aid station. Back cover features lobby cards and a variety of posters, including great 24-Sheet poster. Pinch creases/small tears to spine w/scattered handling wear w/creases at top left of front cover. Two archival tape repairs, one to inside front cover and one to bottom of spine. Fine overall w/no clips. Comes w/11.5x14" advertising supplement that consists of nine single-sided pages (and one fold-out) stapled together. This features ad mats for all the various posters issued for this film's promotion. Complete w/no clips. Lower left has some lt. creases but VF overall.
