Item Description
Stage measures 12.75x19.5" w/the die-cut marquee sign and accent tree leaf section still attached. The bkg. section is very nicely illustrated depicting jungle scene w/tropical bird, monkey and hut which has die-cut door that opens. Reverse has assembly instructions, list of the statue set and notes they were available w/three panels/cellophane packages of Fould's Macaroni, Spaghetti or Egg Noodles. For use w/Gem Clay Forming Co. premium statue sets offered as premium by Fould's, Heinz and others (see item #2153). c. 1932. Stage shows some wear w/scattered handling creases, mainly to die-cut portions of top w/two small .25" tears to cardboard at top left/right marquee support. Still bright and glossy and displays Fine. One of the rarest and most sought after of all Tarzan premiums, we have only offered a few of these stages in our 48 years and this is among the best condition examples we have sold. Our last example of this rare item (w/mailing envelope) sold for $1,700.
