This popular 1930s promotion involved many different bakeries. There were also several different scrapbooks/series issued. This scrapbook is 4x6" while the cards are 2.75x4.25". Imprint on scrapbook is for "Liberty's Buttercup Bread." Booklet is designed to hold 48 recipe cards, each page has same design of character images on border around recipe area where pictures are to be mounted. Scrapbook has even cover aging and scattered edge wear w/dust soiling along spine. Fine. Interior pages are VF. A total of 96 cards were issued in this series, each bearing the title on reverse "New Adventures Of Mickey Mouse." This lot includes 38 cards (w/11 duplicates) which feature great illustrations involving Mickey and Minnie Mouse, their Nephews and Pluto. 25 cards have been mounted as intended while 13 are loose, all having same "Liberty's Buttercup Bread" imprint on card backs. Mounted cards show very little wear and are Exc. Loose cards have varying degrees of handling wear, two featuring Pluto have moderate creasing and are VG while rest are VF-Exc. and w/o the small margin tears typically found on these cards.
