Pair of unrelated books, both w/"Bobby Bear" titles but in fact featuring different bear characters. First is 7.25x7.75" pop-up "Bobby Bear 'Magic Action' Book" by Whitman, ©1935. Book has 25 pages w/bw illustrations and three full color pop-up features. Text refers to bear character as Bozo, The Teddy Bear. Pages are evenly aged and pop-ups work perfectly. Pages are VF/NM, and aside from tiny tear to last pop-up, pop-ups are NM. Cover shows some scattered edge/corner tip wear and is VF. Second is English "Bobby Bear Great Big Midget Book" published by Dean & Son, Ltd. in England, 1930s. Similar in style to American BLBs, book was written by Aunt Kitsie, author of several Bobby Bear books. Cover shows obvious wear w/color rubs and small tears along spine.
