Item Description
7.75x9-7/8x1" cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains four 7.25x9-3/8" 16 page softcover books. Reilly & Lee Co., 1929. Titles include - "Skeezix And Uncle Walt, Skeezix And Pal, Skeezix At The Circus" and "Skeezix Out West." Books have some scattered wear w/spine creases and some corner creases. "Skeezix And Pal" shows most wear. Fine while rest are Fine/VF overall. A boxed set was also produced w/three books in 1928 (using same box, w/o "Four" notation on lid), example offered here being the rarer of the two. Box shows edge and corner wear w/two corner splits and some edge splits. Lid is slightly concave and VG. From the Rogers M. Fred, Jr. BLB & Related Collection.
