Item Description
Each of these 60 buttons is 2.25" issued between 1969 and 1990, with majority from 1980s. Many have Levin's removable ink date or issuer notation on reverse. Many subjects, but most relate to black civil rights issues and include strikes, boycotts, employment, integration, NAACP, affirmative action, etc. Portrait buttons include Marcus Garvey (1987) and Paul Robeson (1982). Condition is Exc. to Mint. Many buttons that saw extremely limited distribution.
