Item Description
Lot of 64 different matchbook covers, each typically 1.5x4.5". Late 1940s to 1950s. All matches have been neatly removed. Artists include - George Petty (5), Gil Elvgren (13), Billy DeVorss (5), TN Thompson (8) and others, including a cowgirl pin-up based on modeling done by Marilyn Monroe. Scattered lt. wear w/creases as originally folded. VF-Exc. An instant collection.
