Lot of three over-sized 14x17 news bulletin photos, each w/9x12" bw photo image area w/caption. Also known as news broadsides, these over-sized bulletin photos and accompanying large paper captions were produced by "Dispatch Photo News Service" for prominent display at ballparks, restaurants, barber shops, etc. detailing the news story of the week. Offered here are - "Three No-Hitters For 'Fireball' Bob" featuring Cleveland Indians Sam Chapman, Luke Easter and Bob Feller; "Two Shortstops Working To Bring World Series To Boston" featuring Boston Red Sox player Vern Stephens and Boston Braves player Alvin Dark; "Heap Big Powerhouse!!" w/Cleveland Indians players Joe Gordon, Ken Keltner, Dale Mitchell and Lou Bordreau. This bulletin mentions Boston Red Sox/Braves World Series, dating these to 1948. Horizontal folds at center, last bulletin has additional creasing to top half. Scattered handling wear w/some small tears along margins and corner creases. Fine/VF overall.
