Esquire made a number of different Lone Ranger gun/holster sets, this example having side panel of lid marked w/set number "2535." Box has some edge wear to top side panel of box/lid w/some creasing. Lid o/w remains very clean w/bright color. VF/Exc. 32" long three-piece black leather belt w/"Lone Ranger" name above white metal attachments (w/several plastic accent stones) above holster pockets, each 10" tall and backed w/fabric. Holsters each have three white metal attachments on front w/plastic accent stones. Metal bullet loop contains three 1" silver plastic bullets. Backs of metal pieces have unavoidable oxidation/aging as boxed but overall, belt/holsters still display VF. Each holster contains 9.25" long nickel-plated die-cast Actoy/Esquire cap pistol, each w/raised "Pony Boy" name under bullet chamber and ivory plastic stag grips. Slight trace of aging from storage in holsters over the years but still bright and clean w/much bright luster. Unfired and VF/Exc. Set comes w/circular cardboard tag noting "This Gun And Holster Set Available For Sale At Woolworth, Kresge And Other Variety Stores." Tag is aged but o/w Exc.
