Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 11.5" long nicely designed tin litho car. Made in Japan by Bandai, 1958. Box has partial store price sticker on end and shows scattered wear w/creasing to lid and neat glue repair to 2" side panel tear. VG/Fine. Red exterior color w/black roof and nicely detailed blue tin litho interior w/separate plastic steering wheel. Plastic hood ornament intact. Front wheels have three notched settings so car can go forward/left/right when friction is activated. Plated grille (w/"Continental" name), headlights and taillights and front fenders have "Continental III" metal attachments. Roof shows lt. wear as boxed but o/w Exc. w/working friction. A classic Bandai of one of America's most iconic cars.
