Pair of nickel-plated cast iron cap guns by The J&E Stevens Co. Each comes in original illustrated cardboard box. "Stevens Bang-O Repeating Cap Pistol" was produced 1938-1940 and features raised "Bang-O" name between grips and bullet chamber and has ivory plastic grips w/crossed guns and cowboy image on one side, horsehead on the other; both have red plastic accent stone. Unfired. Exc. Box has moderate handling wear w/heavy creasing to side panels, .75" puncture and 1.25" puncture/tear. VG. "Big Scout" was produced in 1940. Raised "Big Scout" name between grips and bullet chamber and ivory plastic horsehead grips. Unfired and Exc. Box has some scattered handling wear w/heavy creasing and tears to side panels. VG.
