Item Description
Lot of 11 linen items issued for the 1939 New York World's Fair. First is 46.5x48.25" tablecloth w/repeated Trylon and Perisphere image at each corner and repeated "New York World's Fair" border text. Second tablecloth measures 48.5x48.5" and features four different stylized buildings at each corner w/central Trylon and Perisphere image. Third tablecloth measures 50x50.5" and features map of the Fairgrounds w/buildings labelled as well labels for surrounding New York City attractions. Border is made up of different country's flags. 16.75x26.5" tea towel shows Fair Communications and Administration Buildings. Remaining items in lot range in size from 8.25x13.25" to 11.5x18.5" and include four smaller napkins and three larger, each bearing same embroidered Trylon and Perisphere buildings design on four different color combinations. Each has lt. even aging w/some small scattered age spotting. VF to Exc. overall.
