18x35" fabric by Vogart. ©1933 King Features Syndicates Inc. Cover features great image of Popeye seated, looking at framed picture of Olive Oyl as Swee'Pea plays w/balloon on stick. Framed picture of Wimpy on wall. .75" wide strip at left which was meant to be trimmed and discarded is intact and includes company text and copyright, marked "No. 397 Popeye The Sailor." Pillow cover is totally unused and is design is not stitched as intended. Entire sheet has lt. even aging but image remains clean and strong. VF/Exc. From the Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
