Auction #214 - Part II
Item numbers 1008 through 2793 in auction 214
Item Description
3x3.75x4-5/8" tall hinged lid Spanish paprika tin. Francisco Martinez Lozano, 1930s. Tin features company's initials on heavily worn lid and front/back sides feature stylized full body image of Mickey Mouse while left/right sides features image of pepper plant and sack of paprika. No Disney markings. Sides of tin have some scattered wear in the form of small nicks/scratches and rims at top/bottom have even oxidation. Front has slight 1" dent at top center, but this is only really noticeable in reflected light. VG overall, but still remains nice for display. Several different Mickey Mouse tins were produced by this company and all are rare. First we've offered in our 48 years. From the Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
