Item Description
Set of four lidded china canisters. Unmarked but by Faiencerie d'Onnaing China Co. of France, 1936. Largest measures 6-3/8" tall (missing lid) and has French text for "Sugar" and nice full body image of Mickey Mouse on front. Next is 7" tall (to top of lid handle) w/French text for "Coffee" and nice full body image of Minnie Mouse on front. Lid features smaller version of same Mickey image as seen on front of sugar canister. Next is 4.75" tall (to top of lid handle) w/French text for "Cinnamon" and nice full body image of Minnie w/umbrella. Lid features smaller version of same Minnie image as seen on front of coffee canister. Smallest is 3-3/8" tall (to top of lid handle) w/French text for "Spices" and nice full body image of Mickey stirring drink. Lid features smaller version of same Minnie image as seen on front of coffee canister. Each image has small "Walt Disney" name below it and each canister/lid has silver luster accent stripes. Scattered wear (mainly to lid handles), w/some wear to Mickey image on coffee lid. Fine-VF overall. Rare and first we've seen of any of these pieces. From the Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
