Item Description
Large 32x39.25" glossy paper map w/metal strips at top/bottom. Detailed map depicts the East Coast and Midwest w/inset box w/"1940 New York World's Fair" text and Trylon and Perisphere image by New York. Lower right has "Service From Maine To Louisiana" slogan and image of Esso gas station. Map shows all Esso stations in that area of the country at that time. Map is rolled as issued and shows obvious wear w/numerous handling creases and 2.5" vertical tear at top center. Scattered moisture spots along top corners. VG. Rare as map was meant to be displayed in 1940 as map is dated for that Fair year.
