Box lid and coasters have same Trylon and Perisphere image. Box has all over crazing and moderate aging to lid. Fine. Coasters themselves have some scattered flaking to edges and are Fine-VF overall. Second coaster set comes w/original Art Deco plastic tray and consists of eight 3" dia. plastic coasters in four different colors (two per color). Each features same raised "1939 New York World's Fair © NYWF" text and Trylon and Perisphere image. Exc. 3.75x8x2.25" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid reads "World's Fair Souvenir Candle" and shows image of candle within. End panel has "Orange" stamp, noting candle's color. Box includes original cardboard insert/packing paper. Moderate aging/dust soiling w/corner tip wear. Fine. Figural Trylon and Perisphere candle has "1939 New York/1939 World's Fair" painted raised text on Perisphere. Slight fade to tip of Trylon but o/w VF. Scarce.
