Item Description
High quality 10-7/8x12-3/8" laminated hardcover w/24 pages. Book was a limited edition published "On The Occasion Of Paul Garrett's Party At The University Club - Monday, October 16, 1939" by Brewer-Cantelmo Co. Inc. of New York City. First page features nice Trylon and Perisphere image and is marked in ink number 1 in limited edition of 1,000. Interesting feature of this book is inclusion on top of most pages of University Club members photographed head shots over printed illustration of bodies seated on Futurama ride. Personages of note include Grover Whalen, Eddie Richenbacker, Al Smith and many more. Plastic spiral-bound publication features many photo images of the Fair's exhibit w/accompanying text. Interior covers have moderate aging to gold foil coverings, most obvious on back inside cover. Scattered wear to exterior cover, but Fine/VF overall w/Exc. pages. Nice limited edition, personalized Fair item.
