Item Description
4x6x1" deep illustrated cardboard box contains 6" long pressed steel picture pistol w/metallic black finish. Daisy Manufacturing Co. © Superman Inc. c. 1940s. Box features flying image of Superman along w/pistol and "Supermen Of America" logo as well as filmstrip design. Gun is used by holding to the light and looking through small lens on back, film frames are advanced by pulling gun's trigger. Gun has trace of wear. VF. Comes w/16mm Superman filmstrip titled "Remaking A Heavyweight Champ" boxing theme story. Filmstrip has some lt. rippling but is o/w VF. Box is lightly aged and has some lt. corner tip/edge wear. Complete and tight. Fine overall. Comes w/3.5x6" two-sided insert sheet on orange paper w/printing in black. One side has list of films and includes illustrations of Superman, Red Ryder and Chief Wahoo. Opposite side is instructions. Sheet shows obvious aging and wear w/small margins tears/chips. Just Good but scarce. Scarce as boxed.
